What is HaidKaki?

HaidKaki is a menstrual cycle tracker built for Muslim women. Alongside the cycle it applies the fiqh of your mazhab, so you know when you may pray again, whether today's fast counts, when ghusl is due, and exactly what you still owe. It is not released yet. Joining the waiting list is how you hear the day it opens where you are.

How do I know if bleeding is haid or istihadah?

That judgement rests on your school's minimum and maximum durations for haid, and on your own established habit when bleeding runs long. HaidKaki reads what you record against those parameters and gives an answer together with the reasoning behind it. Where a situation turns on something particular to you, it tells you to ask a scholar rather than answering for one.

When can I pray again after my period?

Once the bleeding has ended and ghusl has been made. Which day that is, though, is exactly what becomes hard to judge when a cycle is irregular. HaidKaki marks the change the moment your record shows it, instead of leaving you to count it out and pray late because you were not sure.

How do I count the fasts I owe from previous Ramadans?

Every fast missed to a ruling is added on the day it happens, and comes off the moment you make it up. Instead of a number you have carried vaguely for years, you get a list you can finish.

Does bleeding before maghrib mean my fast does not count?

Accepted Answer

The timing is what decides it, and bleeding before maghrib is not the same as bleeding after. HaidKaki records the time you enter and applies your school's position to it, so that day is settled rather than guessed.

Which mazhab does HaidKaki follow?

Yours. You choose your school, and every ruling is computed against that school's own parameters, not an average of several, and not a default someone else picked.

Is HaidKaki a fatwa service?

Accepted Answer

No. It applies the classical parameters of your school to what you record and shows its reasoning, but a tool is not a scholar. Where something touches your own circumstances the app says so, every time it matters.

Is my cycle data private?

Your records are never shared with anyone. Notifications are discreet enough that nothing appears on your lock screen for someone else to read.

When will HaidKaki be available, and in which languages?

Malaysia first, then Indonesia and the Gulf. It is written in English, Bahasa Melayu and Bahasa Indonesia, and works offline. The women who join the list first shape what gets built next.
